Women's Soccer wraps home schedule against Centenary

The Wiley University women's soccer team will conclude their 2024 home schedule with a rematch against Centenary College of Louisiana at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Pemberton Field.

Live statistics will be available. The link is listed in the women's soccer schedule on wileyathletics.com. The Lady Wildcats fell 1-0 to the Ladies on Sunday in Shreveport. A foul in the 80th minute set up the go-ahead goal. Destiny Allison stopped seven of eight shots. She ranks second in the Continental Athletic Conference with 44 saves. Yajaira Hernandez took four shots and put two on goal. Nadia Hernandez and Deyanara Hernandez put shots on goal.

The win on Sunday was Centenary's first of the season. Shona Carlton is one of four Ladies who found the back of the net. Zoe Keller picked up her first shutout after saving four shots.

Wednesday will mark the fifth meeting between the Lady Wildcats and Ladies. Wiley's only win came in 2014, the program's first victory. This will be Centenary's third visit to Marshall, having played an exhibition match in 2018 and a regular season match in 2013.
