Women's Soccer continues road swing at Louisiana Christian
The Wiley University women's soccer team will head to Louisiana Christian University for a 5 p.m. match on Wednesday at Wildcat Field.

This is the second game in a three-match road swing for the Lady Wildcats, who are coming off a 2-0 loss to National Collegiate Athletic Association Division III school Austin College on September 12. Destiny Allison stopped seven of nine shots. Yajaira Hernandez led the team with two shots on goal. Wednesday's match will mark the second for Wiley against an institution from the Red River Athletic Conference. It faced North American University on August 24.
Louisiana Christian (0-3-1, 0-0 RRAC) is on a three-match losing streak with two against NCAA Division I schools. Valeria Barriga Casallas scored the lone goal for the Wildcats, with an assist from Kayleigh Tomasich. Maria Alonso and Kamsi Nwosu led the team with five shots. Emma Monnett, Alonso and Casallas have each put three shots on goal. Jaycee Woods has stopped 22 of 32 shots faced.
Wednesday's match will mark the second meeting between Wiley and Louisiana Christian. The teams last met in 2013 with Wiley falling 3-0 during their second season.
