Five Wiley University women's basketball players scored in double figures, as the Lady Wildcats pulled away in the second quarter of a 101-56 rout over Arlington Baptist University Tuesday at Alumni Gymnasium.

The Lady Wildcats (11-10, 7-6 HBCUAC) won their fourth consecutive game and improved to 5-3 at Alumni Gymnasium. It's the second time they've surpassed 100 points, marking the first time they've had multiple games with triple digits since 2014-15.

Kelechi Dike led all scorers with 24 points off the bench. She hit 12 of 13 field goal attempts with several coming on fastbreak layups. Dike added nine rebounds and two steals. Tamia Dolls contributed 14 points and three steals. Erin Love tallied her second double-digit scoring game with 11. She supplied five rebounds and four steals.

Wiley held a 21-20 lead after the first quarter. Most of the points allowed came from Sophia Cortez, who hit four 3-pointers and scored 15 points in the period. The Lady Wildcats trailed briefly at the beginning of the second quarter. Peacock tied the game from the free throw line. Dolls hit two 3-pointers to give Wiley a 31-25 lead. It held the Patriots scoreless for over six minutes and forced five turnovers. A jumper by Mya Jones and layups by Erin Love and Dike increased the margin to 14 points. The Lady Wildcats led 43-29 at halftime.

In the second half, momentum continued in favor of Wiley, who scored the first 12 points - giving it a sizeable 26-point lead. Dike hit three shots with one coming off a steal. A steal by Love set up Mary Leday for a layup. The Lady Wildcats would lead by as many as 49 points.

Wiley outshot Arlington Baptist 52.6 to 28.1 percent, marking the best shooting performance this season. The Lady Wildcats dominated the glass 51-33. They controlled the turnover battle 22-11, leading to 29 points.

The Lady Wildcats will return to action on February 6, when they host Tougaloo College for their final home game. Seniors Mary Leday, Celebria Peacock, Jessica Nerestant, Kewaysha Alsup and Elizabeth Camacho will be honored before the game.
