Men's Basketball hosts Arkansas Baptist for 2024 Homecoming Game

The Wiley University men's basketball team will close its season-opening homestand with its 2024 Homecoming Game against Arkansas Baptist College on Saturday at 2 p.m. in Alumni Gymnasium.

The Wildcats (0-1) are looking to close the homestand with a win in front of alumni after falling 84-70 in the season opener against No. 12 Louisiana State University of Alexandria on October 26. Junior guard Tayvion Fisher, who delivered a robust 25 points in the opener, and senior guard/forward Demarius Pitts followed with 19 points and also led in rebounds alongside Devon Barshow with six.

The match-up history between the two teams suggests a tight competition. The Wildcats and Buffaloes have an even history, each securing wins on their home court last season.
