Michael Lewis, Men's Cross Country

Michael Lewis has led the Wildcats in their first two meets. At the Bob Gravett Invitational 5K race on September 3, Lewis ran 19:00.8. He followed that performance with a time of 25:43 in the Steve Guymon Invitational four-mile race on Friday. Last season, Lewis ran the Wildcats’ top time at the Bill Libby Invitational – finishing the 8K race in 32:33.4.

At the 2022 Red River Athletic Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championship, Lewis earned All-Conference for running on the 4 x 400-meter and 4 x 800-meter relay teams. Before Wiley College, Lewis ran track and cross country at Eisenhower High School in Houston, Texas. When he’s not running, Lewis likes to play NBA 2K and listen to trap music
